Phoenix Rope offers a large spectrum of custom nets and netting products that are ideal for your netting needs. We have experience in supplying different types of netting for a wide range of applications and industries. Some of the common industries and applications for each type of netting includes:

  • Knotless Nylon Netting – This type of netting is most commonly used as backstop or barricade netting, baseball, softball, or golf driving cages, conveyor netting, display or advertising netting, and decorative netting.
  • Three Strand Rope Netting – These types of nets are used as safety netting, debris netting, climbing nets, theme and water park netting, and cargo nets.
  • Monofilament and Multifilament Nylon Nets – These types of nets are commonly used in the commercial fishing and fish farming industries.
  • Custom Netting – From hoop nets, mesh netting, fyke nets, and bait nets, to actual cages, fence netting, construction netting, and bird pen netting; Phoenix can meet your specifications and requirements

Monofilament vs. Multifilament Nylon Netting

Monofilament netting is a type of netting that is made from a single filament string. Multifilament netting is a type of netting that is made from a string with multiple tiny filaments. Both of these types of nettings are commonly used in the fishing industry. In this industry, people are referring to multifilament netting when they say “Nylon Netting”. Monofilament netting is commonly referred to as glass or cat gut netting. Monofilament netting is a common gill netting, and it is clear and almost invisible to fish. Multifilament netting is stronger and more durable than monofilament netting.
